Wednesday of each month. See the local calendar listings below for

Febuary, 10:00AM to 4:00PM - The Mile Hi RC club has invited the Colorado Rotor-Heads club members to participate in an RC aircraft display and demonstration - 4th Annual Model Expo 2008 - at the Wings over the Rockies aircraft museum, at Lowry in Denver. If you would like to attend and display your helicopter or airplane & promote the club to the public this is your opportunity. Bring models for static display and any club banners etc. The static display will be held indoors at the museum. Electric flight demos will be held indoors. Participants may begin setup at 7:00AM. The doors will open to the public at 10:00AM. The Wings over the Rockies Museum is located at the old Lowry AFB, in east Denver.

| ?? June, The 5th Annual Northern Colorado Helicopter Fun Fly will be hosted by the Rocky Mountain Modeleers and the Love-Air R/C Flying Club, June 24th, 25th and 26th at Love-Air's Drake Field near Fort Collins, Colorado. The event will feature six flight and one hovering station, events for novice, intermediate and expert fliers, scale, auto-rotations, drag races, and lots of open flying time. There will be a barbecue and night flying Saturday night. Camping permitted, no hookups.

| 12-16th August, The 2009 IRCHA Jamboree, in Muncie, Indiana, at the National AMA flying site. The 2008 IRCHA Jamboree was the single largest RC event EVER, with over 780 pilots! |

Chatfield State Park Reservoir RC Flying Field -
Monthly meetings (May through October) are usually held at the Chatfield Reservoir RC Field.
Chatfield Reservoir RC Flying Field, Littleton CO, Colorado State Park
Home of the Jefco AeroMod'lers RC Club (an AMA Approved flying field) - From Denver, take Wadsworth Blvd. (Colorado Highway 121) south past highway C-470, and turn left (at the second light south of C-470 - about one mile) into the Park at the Deer Creek entrance. As an alternate route, take Santa Fe Blvd. south to Titan Road, turn west on Titan Road to Roxborough Park Road, and turn north to the Plum Creek entrance of the State Park. Follow the park map to the flying field, which is located on the southeast side of the lake.
